Be prepared for a very busy weekend

THOUSANDS of people are expected to descend on the Coffs Coast for a long weekend filled to the brim with activities, but few will stand out as much as this motley crew (left). They are, of course, just some of the stars of the Coffs Coast Inter-national Buskers and Comedy Festival ? who yesterday took a sightseeing tour of Woolgoolga. Over the next eight days they'll be performing all sorts of tricks to get you to throw a gold coin into their hat. This year the Buskers Festival features 20 performers and more than 100 shows at 14 different venues. For the first time Beach Street in Wool-goolga will close on Monday for a massive buskers' fun day that will be complete with children's rides. To find out where you can see a busker in action, look for the insert in today's paper or turn to Page 4. The Buskers Festival aside there is a great diversity of events on this weekend from The Pub With No Beer Festival at Taylors Arm to a surfing event at Sawtell and a buttery birthday in Bellingen.
