Back to school for 100 grandparents

Ted Durie enjoyed a day at Coffs Harbour Public School yesterday with his honorary granddaughter, Sunday Faynes. Ted Durie was one of more than 100 grandparents, some living as far away as Victoria and Queensland, who were invited to Grandparents' Day at the school yesterday as part of Seniors Week this week. The grandparents spent time in the classrooms with the children, enjoyed a concert by students and staff, and were shown around the school before being treated to a catered lunch prepared by Cafe Splash and a preview of the new school uniforms.
