An addict?s dream or nightmare?

These colourful drug and alcohol costumes featuring a bong, a pill, a cigarette, a syringe, a capsule, alcohol, and coffee form part of the North Coast Drug Costume Kit launched at the Coffs Harbour Education Campus for the start of Drug Action Week. After 12 months of consultation with North Coast indigenous communities, 10 months in the making, and funding from the NSW Premiers Department and the Federal Department of Health and Ageing, the costumes will now be accessible to government and non-government organisations together with accessories for indigenous drug and alcohol education. "They provide a humorous foot in the door for a serious topic," CEO of Arts Mid North Coast Richard Holloway said.
