A big test

By BRAD GREENSHIELDS

THE final teams for the Coast and Valley All Stars matches on Australia Day have been named and coach Jock Moore couldn't be happier with his line-up.

"We had a run on Monday and they were all keen and pretty happy," he said.

"The big thing is that the blokes that are there, they want to be there.

"They're having some fun and they've bonded well, we're not going to perform any miracles but at least all of them want to be there."

A year ago the combined outfit crushed the USA Tomahawks 56-6 but Moore is expecting a much tougher contest on Thursday.

"This will be a lot different game I told them, a lot more physical," he explained.

"The big thing is that in broken play we need to be on our guard because they thrive on that sort of thing.

"I think we'll put on a good show though."
