Another CQ website transformed into Japanese blog

FOR THE second time in five months, a Central Queensland website has been hijacked and turned into a Japanese blog.

Online visitors looking for the Monto Dairy Festival website in August last year were surprised to find that it had become a blog dedicated to the "Relaxation of Jijo Toruhito", with entries discussing the author going to the gym and cleaning the bath.

Now the Biloela Veterinary Clinic website, biloelavetclinic.com, has been transformed into a blog which gives people advice about changing jobs midway through their career.

"Even if you need to break personal relationships you should change jobs to where conditions are good," one headline reads.

The site can be read by searching 'Biloela vet clinic' in Google and accessing a cached version or clicking 'Translate this page'.

Clinic manager Kevin Agius said the change was out of their control and seemed to have happened some time between Christmas and the new year.

"I'm not a tech guru, but I think the company that the domain name was established with went bankrupt and we've lost it," he said.

"It is a pain because now we've got to set up a new website with a new address."

Until that happens, anyone looking for information on the vet clinic can go to the clinic's Facebook page at facebook.com/biloelavetclinic
