Vote for me: Andrew Fraser (Nationals)
AFTER 16 years of a Labor Government more intent on serving itself rather than the people who elected it, it has been a great pleasure to work with a Coalition Government which has actively recognised the needs of regional New South Wales.
As promised in 2011, the NSW Coalition selected a site and completed the $80 million Justice Precinct, which includes a brand new police station and the most modern courthouse in New South Wales.
More than 600 local tradesmen were employed on this project and the end result is magnificent.
This project demonstrates an absolute commitment by the NSW Coalition to finalise facilities, not only for the Coffs Harbour electorate but for all regions of NSW. We also increased our funding to the Pacific Hwy by $456 million and have given a commitment of $200 million towards a bypass of Coffs Harbour.
The next project I would like to see completed is a government office block, which will provide more services to the people of the electorate, in one location.
One of my major goals in the next four years is to establish a port authority which will finally give the opportunity for development of the Jetty Foreshores precinct, unencumbered by local politics, which meets the aspirations of the community.
For far too long the majority of proposals put forward for this precinct have been for over development, which is not what I believe the community wants.
The NSW Coalition has increased the number of teachers, nurses, and police officers and I will continue to work for further increases in these vital occupations for the Coffs Harbour electorate.
The last four years in government is proof that I, and my Nationals colleagues, have an absolute commitment to continue providing funding for infrastructure and services not only for the Coffs Harbour electorate but for all of regional NSW.
I therefore ask for your support to continue this work and hope you give me your Number 1 vote.
