A BIT of help from another set of twins is just what Aaliyah Warren needed on The Voice this week.
The Mackay teen gave her most confident performance to date on the reality singing show thanks to some mentorship from guest coaches The Veronicas.
The 17-year-old was encouraged to make more eye contact and command the stage in her rendition of Don't Let Me Down by The Chain Smokers.
"That was your most confident performance," Delta Goodrem said.
"There was something a little more powerful about you tonight."
The Veronicas revealed Aaliyah was their favourite singer from watching the show at home.
"Vocally we knew you were going to kill it," they said.
"You had our favourite voice on the show from watching back home. You commanded the stage, which we spoke about a lot. You connected in a way I haven't seen you connect before in previous shows."
Aaliyah is now in the Top 8 and will progress to next week's semi-finals as one of The Madden brothers' final two singers after Lane Sinclair's elimination tonight.
The young singer still has a lot of work to do, though, according to her former coach Jessie J.
"I just want you to get more comfortable; that's the only thing that's missing," she said.
"Just throw yourself into the deep end. You have to practice probably more than anyone else on the show right now. Your vocals are improving, just relax and be more comfortable."
