Toddler run-over in driveway

A TODDLER who was struck by a car outside a Bellingen home is recovering in hospital from non life-threatening injuries.

The one-year-old girl was reportedly run-over by a vehicle as it reversed down a driveway outside the family home on Sunday morning.

The young girl was immediately rushed to the Coffs Harbour Base Hospital emergency ward.

A spokeswoman for the Mid North Coast Local Health Network said today the young girl was treated for a broken collarbone and remained in the hospital in a stable condition.
