A show of hope for country girl

JAYMI-LEE Austin hopes that her TAFE studies in Child Services will eventually see her working at sea.

In future, the Coffs Harbour Showgirl entrant hopes to work as a Kids' Club teacher for young children on cruise liners.

Meanwhile, she will finish her Certificate III course at the end of this term and move into studies for her Diploma.

She plans to teach pre-school and primary school students when she completes her course at the end of next year.

Born in Coffs Harbour, Jaymi-Lee says she usually goes to the Show and enjoys the carnival rides.

But she admits she also loves the horses, cows and other animals.

Although she now lives in town, she lived in Nana Glen for three years and Dairyville for another three years and enjoyed growing up in the country.
