Evelyn Shaw celebrated her 102nd birthday with her extended family and friends.

A major milestone for Evelyn

EVELYN Shaw is one lady who doesn’t mind revealing her age.

As the oldest resident at Coffs Harbour’s Domain Aged Care, she’s only too happy to say she’s turned 102.

“Evelyn enjoys excellent health and is often heard to remark that she can’t remember the last time she even had a headache,” her grand daughter, Lynda Haksteeg, said.

Mrs Shaw settled in the local area with her husband, Christopher, after they married in Millthorpe in 1927.

The Shaws arrived in Coffs Harbour in 1947 and raised six children – Margery, Laurie, Ron (deceased), Marlene, Barbara and Pam.
