A festival of fun for Bellingen

SAVING solar in NSW, sustainability from backyard to farm and empowerment in taking charge of our environmental footprint are themes at this year’s Bellingen Energy Festival.

Festival co-ordinator Paul Nebauer said the event, on Saturday September 3 from 8.30am-3.30pm at Bellingen Showground, would provide something for everyone.

“Whether it’s sustainability from a Landcare, small farmer or gardener’s perspective or activities for the kids, there will be lots happening,” Mr Nebauer said.

Keeping kids entertained will be easy with: Jam Theatre, eco-craft, hands-on fun like sculpture making and seedling planting and Old MacDonald’s Animal Farm to mention a few.

“With a lively festival feeling, wonderful food, activities and information sessions the Energy Festival is sure to be a fun family day out.”
