A day to be brave and shave
THE Leukaemia Foundation’s ‘World’s Greatest Shave’ is celebrating its 12th anniversary as one of the nation’s biggest and most popular fund- raising events.
And you can join in the action and shave your head or colour your hair to raise funds to support more than 50 people in NSW who are projected to be diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders this week.
There are several local public shave events, where you can have your head shaved, taking place.
Where: Dorrigo RSL Club, 2 Hickory Road
When: Friday, March 12, from 6pm – 9pm
Where: Kempsey-Macleay RSL Club, 1 York Lane
When: Saturday, March 13, from 2pm- 6pm.
Where: Banksia Preschool, 2 Tucker Close
When: Friday, March 12, from 11am – 1pm.
There will be face painting, a jumping castle, sausage sizzle and most importantly ‘live shaves’.

When: Friday, March 12, from 6pm-10pm.
Where: Red Rock Bowling Club.
When: Saturday, March 13, from 3pm.
