Man charged with 94 theft, drug and weapon offences
A GLASSHOUSE Mountains man has been charged with 94 theft, drugs and weapon offences after a police raid on Thursday.
More than 100 items of stolen property were allegedly found hidden in the 32-year-old man's home, along with drugs and weapons.
Police believed the property had been stolen from cars parked at tourist sites in the Sunshine Coast hinterland over the past two months.
It is also alleged the man committed 65 fraud-related offences using credit cards stolen from the vehicles and other burglaries.
Officers from the Property Crime Task Force had raided the Rivers Rd home after obtaining a search warrant following a tip-off.
Since the raid Sunshine Coast detectives have been contacting people who had reported having items stolen.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on October 25.
