Coronial inquest into Lindt Cafe attack resumes today

THE coronial inquest into the terrorist attack at Sydney's Lindt Cafe which made international headlines last year will resume today. 

It is understood all survivors have been called to give evidence.

Cafe manager Tori Johnson, 34, and lawyer Katrina Dawson, 38, were killed when gunman Man Haron Monis entered the Martin Place cafe on December 15 and took 18 people hostage.

Monis was killed when police stormed the cafe in the early hours of December 16 after he shot Mr Johnson at point blank range.

It was later revealed Ms Dawson was killed as a result of ricocheting fragments of a police bullet fired when heavily-armed officers entered the cafe.

It is understood the hearing will last for two weeks. - APN NEWSDESK.
