Aussie men more label-conscious than women

AUSTRALIAN men have overtaken women in the designer fashion department, new research has revealed.

A Roy Morgan study of 4.4 million people found 24% of Australian men said they would buy a product because of the label, compared to just 21% of women.

Online retailer Brands Exclusive says it has experienced a 35.4% growth in menswear sales in the past two years.
