4WD set alight

FIRE crews were called to extinguish a four-wheel-drive set alight in Coffs Harbour's Mastracolas Road early yesterday morning.

Coffs Harbour-based NSW Fire Brigade officers joined police at the scene near the Salvation Army depot at 12.55am.

A Mitsubishi Triton was found to be engulfed in flames.

Police say the fire is thought to have been deliberately lit and inquiries are continuing.
