OPTUS has introduced its 4G mobile network to Coffs Harbour, delivering 4G for consumers and businesses in select areas of the city this week.

4G services are now available at three sites across the city - Toormina, the CBD and Coffs Harbour North.

Since the initial switch-on of 4G services in Newcastle in April last year, Optus has rolled out 4G sites in in many sites responding to demand from customers with new 4G-enabled handsets and mobile broadband devices.

"Coffs Harbour customers can now check out the Optus 4G network when sharing photos and videos with their friends and family, posting updates to social media or doing a little shopping on their 4G device while at the beach," managing director of networks at Optus, Günther Ottendorfer said.
