12-year-old-boy allegedly stabbed a man in the back

A 12-year-old boy has allegedly stabbed a man who was talking on his phone.

Police say around 8:25pm last night the man was walking outside a business on Beaudesert Rd when the boy approached him.

The boy then allegedly stabbed the man in the back with a knife before fleeing the scene.

the man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A boy was taken into custody shortly afterwards.

A 12-year-old Pallara boy has been charged with one count of wounding.
