$100,000 available from NSW Government for Coffs Harbour

COMMUNITY and sporting groups around the Coffs Coast will benefit from a $100,000 boast to infrastructure projects after the NSW budget.

The Nationals Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser, said the money was available from the 2014 Community Building Partnership and applicants have until July 18 to stake a claim.

"This budget boost for the electorate will allow community groups to apply for grants by providing positive social, recreational and environmental outcomes," he said.

"This program will assist boosting local construction jobs and support businesses."

Since 2009 local projects funded since 2009 include Coffs Harbour Innovation Centre, Westside Tennis Club, Sawtell-Toormina Sport and Recreation Club, Friends of the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden, Sawtell Girl Guides, Rotary Club of Woolgoolga and Coffs Harbour Deep Sea Fishing Club.

Applicants can apply for the Community Building Partnership Grant at www.communitybuildingpartnership.nsw.gov.au
