A-League tickets on sale this weekend

AT ONLY $20 each, seats in the grandstand are expected to be picked up quickly when tickets for the Hyundai A-League pre-season clash to be played in Coffs Harbour go on sale on Saturday.

Section leader of council's Stadium and major events team, Leanne Coad, said she's hoping a large crowd will be at C.ex Coffs International Stadium on Friday, August 7 to see the Western Sydney Wanderers take on the Central Coast Mariners.

"Tickets are on sale and we would encourage the community to get behind yet another fabulous sporting event at C.ex Coffs International Stadium," Mrs Coad said.

"Tickets have been priced with families in mind, so we are hoping to see lots of football families on the night."

While seat in the grandstand will be $20 no matter what age the seat holder is, general admission tickets are only $10 for adults and $5 for concession tickets or children aged 6-14.

Children aged 5 years or under will be allowed into the general admission area for free.

If you're not buying tickets at the gate on the night of the game, tickets can be pre-purchased online or at the Coffs Coast Visitor Information Centre which is now located at the Big Banana.

As there is no ticketing fee for tickets purchased online so getting on your computer is the cheapest option.

Tickets bought at the Visitor Information Centre carry a processing fee of $1.50 each while tickets sold on the day will carry a fee of $2 each.
