Delays on Pacific Hwy this week

Roadworks on the Pacific Hwy upgrade between Sapphire and Woolgoolga will cause delays for motorists this week.

WORK on the Pacific Hwy upgrade between Sapphire and Woolgoolga will cause motorists in that area some delays this week.

Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) have advised that there will be changed traffic conditions starting on Monday.

Speed limits will be reduced to allow trucks to access the work site, install barriers and work next to the highway.

Traffic management and a reduced speed limit will be in place across the project where required to ensure the safety of workers, motorists and other road users.

Motorists are advised to plan their journey, allow extra travel time and obey all signs.

RMS has said that every attempt will be made to minimise noise generated by work on the project.

Wet weather may change work dates and times.

The following areas will be affected:

Korora to Emerald Beach

Weekdays between 7am and 4.30pm northbound near Campbells Close and Headlands Road, Sapphire Beach.

Monday between 9.30am and 4pm near Sugarmill Road, Sapphire Beach and near Wakelands Road and Maccues Road, Moonee Beach.

Emerald Beach to Woolgoolga

Weekdays between 9.30am and 6pm and on Saturday between 8am and 1pm southbound from Graham Drive South to near Fiddaman Road, Emerald Beach.

Weekdays between 7am and 4.30pm and on Saturday between 8am and 1pm northbound between Graham Drive South, Emerald Beach and Diamond Head Drive, Sandy Beach.

Monday between 9.30am and 6pm near Killara Avenue, Moonee Beach.

Woolgoolga to Arrawarra

Weekdays between 9.30am and 6pm and Saturday from 8am to 5pm near Arrawarra Beach Road, Arrawarra.

From Sunday, February 19, between 7pm and 6am road marking work will be carried out near Graham Drive South, Emerald Beach.
