GET down and get crazy for your chance to win $1000 when Coles Coffs Harbour opens its doors in Harbour Dr at 9am on Wednesday.

As part of the planned launch of their exciting new store, Coles is running a promotion around their bright red signature "Down Down" hands.

Everybody is encouraged to "Get down" and get creative with those hands.

A photographer from the Coffs Coast Advocate will visit the store during the morning and take photographs throughout different departments of customers having fun with the trademark red hands.

Do whatever it takes to get noticed, dress up, strike a pose or pull a funny face to have your photograph taken and be in the running for the $1000.

A selection of photographs will be published in the Coffs Coast Advocate on February 18 and uploaded to our website.

The winner will be decided by a poll on the website that closes at noon March 1 and announced in the newspaper on March 2.

So, get thinking, get creative and get down to Coles on Wednesday to check out the unveiling of their new market-style layout and exclusive collection of clothing and accessories.
