Sawtell beachcomber Bill Buckley has captured the king tide damage to Sawtell Beach.
SAWTELL'S beaches have been hammered by heavy seas during the recent wild weather.
Regular beachcombing resident Bill Buckley has captured the latest damage, which has seen sand dunes gouged out by the king tides.
Drop-offs of up to three metres now exist at the highest points of the sand dunes.
"Once again extreme weather events have been pounding Sawtell Beach and there has been extensive dune erosion," Mr Buckley said.
"I wonder where it will end."
The Coffs Harbour City Council is currently undertaking an assessment of just how much damage the region sustained in last week's deluge.
