Rage in the cage hits Coffs again

COFFS Harbour is once again about to feel the rage in the cage, with Tapout Underground Mixed Martial Arts is returning to C.ex Coffs on Friday.

NO WHERE TO RUN: Local cage fighter Aaron Dyett in action on the weekend on the Fraser Coast.

COFFS Harbour is once again about to feel the rage in the cage.

Tapout Underground Mixed Martial Arts is returning to C.ex Coffs on Friday, October 8, and there will be a definite local flavour when it comes to the competitors stepping into the cage.

Promoter Shane Balmer said that spectators will not only get to see plenty of action inside the hexagon cage but local fight fans will have some of their own to support.

Former Coffs Harbour and Woolgoolga league player Aaron Dyett is slated to be on the card on the upcoming fight night after having an impressive start to his career.

Last weekend on the Fraser Coast Dyett had his second career fight and Balmer says that everyone was impressed with the big unit’s display.

“The improvement that Aaron has shown between his first and second encounter is phenomenal,” Balmer said.

“The skill level has increased and he was really impressive on the weekend,” he added.

Dyett was actually awarded the fight of the night such was the appreciation of the crowd.

With tickets already on sale at C.ex, Balmer added that people should get in quick because cage-side seats are already disappearing fast.
