HOT: The Woolgoolga Curryfest has become one of the most popular events on the Coffs Coast.
WITH more than 50 stalls, this year’s Woolgoolga Curryfest is shaping up as the best yet.
Proudly supported by The Advocate, the fifth annual multicultural day of amazing food, music and dance will be held Saturday, April 17, at Woolgoolga Beach Reserve from 9am to 5pm.
Despite adverse weather last year, 11,000 people attended the festival.
Curryfest-goers this time around will enjoy live music performances by a range of talented musicians and bands playing both modern and traditional material.
Artists and performances include: Boom, Carnaval Drumming performance and workshop, The Punjabi Groove Masters, Sandhi Ghandi Comedian, Keogh & the Didg Element of Space, Headland, Woolgoolga Dance Studio, Traditional Bhangra Dancers, graffiti workshops, belly dancers, cooking demonstrations, art workshops, kids entertainment, sky diving and much more.
On the evening of April 17, the ‘Curryfest Cabaret’ will be held at C.ex Woolgoolga from 7.30pm and will feature most acts from the festival, ‘cabaret style’ throughout the night.
Pre-booked tickets are just $13 and available from C.ex Coffs or C.ex Woolgoolga.
The ticket will get you into to the evening’s Curryfest Cabaret, the Woolgoolga Curryfest Festival and comes with bag of goodies as well.
Entry on the day is $2 per person.
