SAWTELL can now add the Twenty20 trophy to their list of achievements after a comfortable victory over the Park Beach Bowling Club Colts on Wednesday night.

IS there a cricket title that Sawtell can’t win?

Having won the last five premierships Sawtell can now add the Twenty20 trophy to their list of achievements after recording a comfortable victory over the Park Beach Bowling Club Colts on Wednesday night.

Batting first in front of a healthy crowd, Sawtell’s victory was set up by an unbeaten century by Chris Neal who hit the ball to all parts of the ground to score 132.

Admittedly Neal was helped by butter fingers in the field but Sawtell’s total of 4-189 plus another 100 bonus runs given for playing under 16s was always going to be a tough ask for the Colts to chase down.

PBBC Colts also received 100 bonus runs but were dismissed 88 runs in arrears to give Sawtell another title.
