Head for the Jetty Foreshores tonight and tomorrow night to enjoy a free film under the stars.
FOR the first time the Newcastle Permanent Open Air Cinema will be screening for free.
The cinema screened for the first time in Woolgoolga last night and tonight will return to the Jetty Foreshores.
The Newcastle Permanent Open Air Cinema first ran in January 2008.
“When we moved to Coffs four years ago we felt there was great potential for an open air cinema given the climate and the picturesque harbour and beachfront areas,” Mrs Black said.
They have continued to grow even though the first year was a wash out.
Tonight Marley & Me will be screening at Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshores and tomorrow Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian will show.
Films kick off as the sun sets, around 8.15pm.
“We are hoping the free entry this year will attract even more people and give those who have not yet experienced the Coffs Open Air Cinema a chance to see what it’s all about,” Mrs Black said.
