Bunnies hop into Coffs next week

SOUTH Sydney will begin a week-long camp in Coffs Harbour on Monday.

South Sydney Rabbitohs are coming to Coffs Coast tomorrow as part of their Community Carnival development tour.

SOUTH Sydney will begin a week-long camp in Coffs Harbour on Monday.

The Rabbitohs will be spending their time at the Novotel Pacific Bay Resort in preparation for the 2010 NRL season as well as being involved in several community events around the region.

As well as training, the Rabbitohs have a packed week of activities that includes Sunday’s Country Energy/Souths Cares Koori Surf Competition at Park Beach, a series of junior training sessions involving schools and Group 2 juniors as well as several opportunities for Bunnies fans to get an autograph.

“We’re really looking forward to returning to Camp Rabbitoh and Coffs Harbour,” Rabbitohs CEO Shane Richardson said.

“The welcome we’ve had at each of our camps has been outstanding and we feel that the community has really embraced the team.

“We’ve worked hard over the past 12 months to ensure our Club has become part of the community here in Coffs Harbour through our two training camps last season, our pre-season trial match, and the work our players and staff do through Souths Cares.”

South Sydney will be playing a trial game at BCU International Stadium on February 20 against the Gold Coast Titans.
