Russell Crowe to Takeover?
The Robin Hood star will be approached to play one of the lead roles in the rags to riches story immortalising the “people’s champion” Takeover Target.
Coffs Harbour trainer Joe Janiak while he was living in a caravan beside the Queanbeyan race track in 2003 when he bought Takeover Target.
Six years later and the broken down bay gelding that he paid $1250+GST for, is now famed as Australia's greatest ever sprinter.
