Police investigating two murders

POLICE are investigating the murders of two NSW residents found dead in their homes this week.

Late Monday night a man told officers he had arrived at his 69-year-old father's Sydney home and found his lifeless body inside. Homicide detectives are investigating.

Police are also treating the death of a Grafton woman, whose body was pulled from a burned-out home in Grafton last Friday, as suspicious.

A post-mortem revealed the 47-year-old possibly had other injuries before the house was set on fire.
