Police investigate after body found at Coffs Harbour Jetty

Police are continuing an investigation after a person was found deceased at Coffs Harbour Jetty on Saturday afternoon.

POLICE from Coffs-Clarence LAC and paramedics were called to attend an incident at Coffs Harbour Jetty late on Saturday.

Arriving at the scene a deceased person was located in the vicinity of Coffs Harbour Railway Station.

The Jetty level crossing was closed for some time while forensic officers collected evidence.

Investigations are continuing and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
