SWANSEA City boss Michael Laudrup said the impressive 3-1 success over West Brom was one of the only times as a manager he could sit back and enjoy the game.

The home team scored for the first time in the first half since registering against Sunderland on September 1 and after Michu's opener in the ninth minute.

Wayne Routledge added a double before the break as Swansea outpassed and outclassed Steve Clarke's team.

"I don't remember the last time I could watch a game like this - relaxed," Laudrup said.

West Brom dropped to fourth despite Chelsea drawing a blank for the second game running in a 0-all draw with Fulham.

The Blues went third behind Manchester City which eased to victory at Wigan 2-0 to remain second.

Robin van Persie's goal after 32 seconds was enough for Manchester United in a 1-0 home win over West Ham which kept it a point clear at the top.

Spurs beat Liverpool 2-1 and Stoke defeated Newcastle by the same score.

Everton and Arsenal and Southampton and Norwich played 1-all draws.
