MEMBER for Coffs Harbour Andrew Fraser has made a controversial call on Facebook to close Australian borders following terrorism attacks in Paris this weekend.

Mr Fraser took to Facebook and made the comment as the attacks, which killed more than 129 people, were unfolding in Paris.

His views are aligned with former One Nation leader, Pauline Hanson, who took to Channel 9's Today show this morning and made similar comment against allowing more refugees.

Other politicians, including Premier Mike Baird have posted messages of support and unity with France.
