Coffs Harbour BRE
THIS weekend is our March competition.
Sign on is at noon at the Fishing Club with weigh in at noon, Sunday, at the Deep Sea Club.
Species for the competition are bream, flathead, whiting, luderick and rock blackfish.
Subs are tailor and mulloway.
The water is clearing quickly after the rain and the fish have remained on the chew.
The fish seem to be concentrated in patches so a little effort needs to be put in to cover some territory to find them.
We have found this out over the last couple of weekends in a couple of the rivers with the fishing pretty good in parts then not even a bite in others.
There has been a few Bream on the chew mixed in with the odd Bass but the Flathead have disappeared after the rain so might be worth a look in the lower reaches.
