Classics live and breathe in Rock Revolution

Jon English and the cast of Rock Revolution

SPEAK to anyone in a record store and they'll tell you the same tale: great music never dies.

Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Bob Dylan, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Meatloaf, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Five, Suzi Quatro, The Doors...

They're a pleasure to play and even better to hear live - and these are all artists covered in Jon English's touring rockfest, Rock Revolution.

Coming to the Sawtell RSL on February 8 and 9, Rock Revolution is the natural successor to Jon's previous hit Rock Show, 2012 ARIA nominee for Best Soundtrack and 2012 Mo Awards Best Rock Act.

Supported by a band fairly crackling with youth and enthusiasm, Jon is looking forward to the new tour.

"There are a few new faces in this show," he said.

"After three years, some of the original cast decided it was time to move on to other things, which is of course great for them, but it's also great to be able to give other young artists the chance to shine and experience performing in a live touring show.

"We've got some really fantastic new talent to show off and a whole new swag of songs!"
